This is win. If a skill is linked to an Attribute, you should need to actually invest in the Attribute to increase an aspect of the skill. Why would you use [[Hundred Blades], which has always been classified in-game as a Sword Attack, if you didn't have your Swordsmanship Attribute invested into to deal damage with your sword? I'm pretty sure that whether or not [[Triple Chop] had bonus damage associated with the skill, you wouldn't use it with a low Axe Mastery, considering you wouldn't do any DAMAGE even when TC hit if you were running a low-investement Axe Build.

It's funny how no one else thought of that lols,...

Either way, I'm loving Hundred Blades the way it is. In normal PvE, yes! It actually does some nice damage now, because whatever you hit, you'll always deal 20 damage. +40 from a 14 Strength Gash and you've got 60 on your target, 20 on everything adjacent. Which usually is alot in PvE,... Combining Flail with Hundred Blades just pwns atm, imho.

Hundred Blades is, in its current form, a farming gimmick.
I loved the old one, why did they feel the need to totally change it?

Hmm, lets compare, A Warrior's Endurance scythe war that does big AoE dommage EVERY hit or a sword warrior with hundred blades that only does AoE dommage when he uses hundred blades.

Lol why bother if it's for PvE. The only pro for the sword warrior is the shield.

Ouch, bungus! I'd say that [[Dragon Slash] is a pro for a Sword Warrior, with or without [[Save Yourselves! (Kurzick)].

Conjure D-Slash is still a great DPS machine to run, and with the added benefit of [[Brawling Headbutt] and [[Steelfang Slash], single-target KD lock is nice. Plus it gives me a reason to use my FDS/IDS!

(btw, check farming subforum if you havent already, 100b can do smites, and is pretty fast.)

You guys keep saying Scythewarr is big dommage,... However, I just don't get it. I've tried it myself, max damage scythe, 13 Strength;
[[Warrior's Endurance][[Eremite's Attack][[Mystic Sweep][[Protector's Strike][[Save Yourselves][[Resurrection Signet]

And.. I just can't seem to get the huge numbers you guys keep saying it produces.

Actually I did add Aura of Holy Might, I was at school and the 'teacher' came around so I had to shutdown quickly xD.
I normally never put it up like that lols.

Even still, with Aura of Holy Might, I find my actual Derv doing more damage,...

You said 13 Strength on a ScytheWarr? It should be 14 Strength (Strength Helm + Minor Strength Rune) and 12 Scythe Mastery.

With [[Aura of Holy Might (Kurzick)] up, I'm generally doing 50+ damage per normal hit, getting up to 3-digit damage when using skills. That's w/o [[Asuran Scan], so yeah, the damage is there. It's REALLY fun when you run a ScytheWarr in areas infested with Undead - yellow numbers will make you smile .

Using AoHM at all does that. Lyssa dervs and scythesins will get quite a few 200-300 hits against undead as well.

You show one build, but against the Raptors, you aren't using the same build. You have Soldier's Defense on the bar. What spread in Tactics if you are already using a 12/10/8 split for Sword/Curses/Strength? Also, it's on NM, since the Nestlings are lvl 15.

How are you aggro'ing and not getting destroyed before using Whirlwind, with no spec in Tactics for blocking?

A/D > W/D > D/any for scythes
Armor penetration from Strengh is nice but dealing max damage with scythes because of Critical Strikes is simply superior. And [[Critical Agility].

I don't see how W/Ds can ever be better than D/* when they're using Warrior's Endurance as the elite.

I also see a glaring lack of Power Attack on those W/D bars. It's [email protected] on a 3s timer, why the **** aren't people using it?

Because Warrior's Endurance is a stance, you can't get an extra IAS. That's probably why all attack skills on most W/D Scythewarr bars are 1/2 & 3/4 casting time. It makes up for the lack of IAS, surely Power Attack doesn't, even though you're right about the +38 dmg =).
